The Pheasantry is a day provision open from Monday to Friday term time only for young adults 19 years plus with complex medical and physical difficulties. We are a warm and welcoming establishment for young people who enjoy a wide range of activities and socialise, in a calm relaxing atmosphere.

Our activities are planned around the needs of the young adults, we follow discussions with them and give them the opportunity to explore and develop experiences and independence skills appropriate to each individual, for their future. Some of the activities we offer are arts & crafts, baking, table top activities such as horticulture, social board games, Sensory time with massage, animals, lights, interactive play with a magic carpet, music therapy, movement to music and drama. We also do swimming, bowling, boccia and rebound therapy. We have our own buses which gives us the opportunity to do independent skills and also to use the community for shops, theatre and museums too.

The cost is from £60 a day depending on the needs and level of support of the young adult. All our staff have experience of special needs and have regular training updates. We are managed by St Francis School, Sally and Vicky who are currently leading at The Pheasantry. Due to our vulnerable nature of our young adults we are unable to cater for behavioural problems.
