Equality Statement

At Lincoln Saints Federation, we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity, eliminating discrimination and fostering positive relationships for all pupils, staff and members of our school community.

The following equality objectives guide our practice.

Access to a Personalised Curriculum Offer

We will ensure that all pupils can access a broad, balanced and meaningful curriculum, delivered through adaptive and inclusive learning approaches. Resources will be motivating and personalised to support the diverse learning needs and maximise engagement and progress for all pupils.

Belonging in an Inclusive Environment

We create a safe, supportive community where every individual feels accepted, valued and proud of who they are. We provide opportunities for pupils to explore their own values, feelings and beliefs whilst developing respect and understanding for others.

We work in partnership with families and professionals to ensure every learner belongs and thrives.

Personal Development and Preparation for Adulthood

Lincoln Saints Federation is committed to supporting every pupil’s personal development and preparation for adulthood by building the skills, confidence and independence they need for life beyond school. Through a broad and meaningful curriculum, pupils develop communication, social, emotional and practical skills tailored to their individual needs and aspirations.

Every Voice Matters

We recognise that every pupil has the right to be heard and to play an active role in their learning and school experience. Pupil voice is central to our practice and we ensure that all pupils are supported to communicate their voices, choices and aspirations. Recognising that communication needs vary, we make effective use of assistive technology, visual support and adapted digital resources. This enables pupils to express themselves with confidence and independence. By listening to and acting upon pupil voice, we promote self-advocacy, engagement and meaningful participation in school life.

Offering Meaningful Experiences Beyond the Classroom

We provide a wide range of opportunities for pupils to access the local community, including educational visits, work-related learning, life-skills activities and community participation. These experiences are carefully planned and adapted to meet individual needs, ensuring all pupils can engage safely and successfully.

We regularly review our practices to ensure equality, accessibility and inclusion remain at the heart of our school.
